- Property and maintenance data: property addresses, equipment details, tasks, documents, and related notes you choose to store.
- Usage and device data: basic logs and analytics (e.g., pages visited, timestamps, browser type) to operate, secure, and improve the service.
- Communications: your preferences and interactions with our emails (e.g., unsubscribe events).
How We Use Data
- Provide and improve the service (e.g., reminders, document storage).
- Authenticate users and maintain account security.
- Send service emails you opt into (you can change preferences anytime).
- Detect, prevent, and respond to security incidents and misuse.
- Comply with legal obligations.
Sharing
We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for their marketing. We may share data with service providers strictly as needed to operate the product (e.g., cloud hosting, email delivery, analytics). These providers are bound by confidentiality and data processing terms and may only process data on our instructions.
Authentication: if you choose to sign in with a third-party identity provider (e.g., Google), we will share and receive the minimum information necessary to authenticate you (such as your email and basic profile). We do not grant them access to your stored content.
Community Features
To help users find quality contractors, you may optionally submit contractor ratings and reviews. If you participate, your submitted rating content (not your private account data) may be shared with other users and displayed in aggregate, potentially with approximate location context (e.g., city/region). You can remove your own ratings at any time, though cached or aggregated views may persist for a limited period.
Affiliate Links
When you search for replacement parts or filters, we may include affiliate links. If you click an affiliate link, the retailer may use a cookie to attribute a referral. We do not receive access to your purchase details. You can disable third-party cookies in your browser to limit tracking.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate and improve the Service:
- Essential cookies are required for core functionality such as authentication, security, and remembering your settings.
- Analytics and performance cookies help us understand how the website is used (e.g., pages visited, device/browser type, session duration) so we can improve reliability and usability. We may use privacy-friendly analytics tools such as Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights that provide aggregated metrics.
- Affiliate attribution cookies may be set by retailers if you click an affiliate link, as described above, to attribute a referral. We do not receive your purchase details from these cookies.

Email Preferences and Opt-Out

We retain your content while your account is active. You can delete items or your account, and we will remove associated data subject to reasonable backup and legal retention periods.
